Tutor in Mathematics and Physics

A former lecturer in Engineering at Tsinghua University, Boris teaches Mathematics and Physics for Hertford Academy. He joins Hertford with more than 12 years’ teaching experience, at primary, secondary and tertiary level. As a practising Engineer, Boris is enthusiastic about the real-life applications of the subjects he teaches. He believes that it is vitally important for experienced professionals from outside the narrow confines of Education to be able to pass on their expertise and practical knowledge to the next generation. And as a proud Russian, he never fails to remind his students of the many Russians who have contributed to the theories, equations and solutions that he teaches in class. Boris speaks fluent English and Mandarin, and is working hard on his Cantonese.
